How long do All-on-4® implants last?

At Perth Dental Implant Centre, treatment is typically completed in two stages through our Revive packages:

• Revive Basic/ Revive Essentials/ Revive Advanced (Stage 1 – custom-milled PMMA (acrylic) bridge):
  A custom-milled PMMA (acrylic) bridge is fitted 24 hours after surgery. This is designed to last between 1–2 years while your implants stabilise and heal.

• Revive Essentials/ Revive Advanced (Stage 2 – Long-term ceramic bridge):
  Your custom-milled PMMA (acrylic) bridge is then replaced with a strong zirconia option, which can last 10–15 years or more with proper care.

What affects how long All-on-4® implants last?

The lifespan of your implants and bridge depends on:

• Oral hygiene: Daily brushing and flossing at home and professional cleaning
• Material choice: Ceramic/zirconia bridges are more durable than custom-milled PMMA (acrylic)
• Bite and habits: Grinding or clenching can increase wear and tear. All of our Revive packages include a custom-fitted night splint to protect your investment.
• Regular maintenance: Ongoing cleans and radiographs to help protect your investment

Do All-on-4® implants need maintenance?

Yes. While the implants themselves are designed to be long-term, maintaining your result includes:

• Regular check-ups and professional cleans
