Bone, Gum Grafting and Sinus Lifts

There treatments are commonly provided in preparation for or during dental implant surgery.

Bone grafting is used to rebuild areas of lost jawbone, helping create a stable foundation for dental implants or to support natural teeth. The graft material is placed in areas of bone loss and allowed to heal and integrate over time.

Gum grafting helps treat receding gums, which can cause sensitivity and affect the appearance of your smile. Healthy gum tissue is repositioned or added to areas where it’s needed, supporting both function and aesthetics.

A sinus lift is performed when there isn’t enough bone in the upper jaw to support dental implants. It involves gently lifting the sinus and placing bone graft material to increase bone height.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns are used to restore and strengthen damaged or weakened teeth, improving both function and appearance. They can also play an important role in supporting other restorative treatments.

A bridge uses crowns placed on adjacent healthy teeth to support one or more prosthetic teeth, effectively “bridging” the gap left by missing teeth. This fixed solution restores your ability to chew and speak while maintaining the alignment of surrounding teeth.

Bridges may be a suitable option when dentures feel loose or uncomfortable, or when dental implants are not suitable.

Sedation & Anaesthesia

Sleep dentistry, also known as IV sedation, allows you to remain in a deeply relaxed, sleep-like state throughout your treatment. It is commonly used for longer or more complex procedures and may be suitable for patients who feel anxious about dental care. General anaesthesia may also be arranged for day surgery where appropriate.
